Good disease resistance. Superior to 'Blackwell' and 'Cave-In-Rock' in the eastern U.S. coastal and piedmont. Leafy growth habit; strong seedling vigor and better than average rhizome spread; early spring recovery and increased biomass yields over midwestern varieties; high nutrient value.
This mix of grasses and grass-like species will tolerate occasional flooding and provide food and cover for native game birds in the NC Mountain region. Mix formulations are subject to change without notice depending on the availability of existing and new products.
